Raider Baseball Sweeps Arkansas State University- Three Rivers in Run Rule Style

Raider Baseball sweeps Arkansas State University Three Rivers in doubleheader series.
 
Game one; ASU-TR 0, Raiders 12 (5 innings)

Blake Seefeldt drove in four runs on one hit to lead the Raiders past Arkansas State University Three Rivers 12-0 in game one run rule. In the second inning, Seefeldt homered to left field, scoring three runs.
 
RSC jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Glynn Wilson tripled, scoring two runs, Cole Barton singled, scoring one run, and Seefeldt homered to left field, scoring three runs.
 
Raiders added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Dondi King doubled, Gerardo Gonzales singled, Jordan Dehoyos singled, Seefeldt was struck by a pitch, Silas Vogely hit into a fielder's choice, and Dehoyos stole home, each scoring one run.
 
Isaac Thornton stepped on the bump first for the Raiders. He gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking three. Drew Sheppard and Jackson Warner each threw scoreless innings for the Raiders in relief.
The RSC hitters tallied nine hits in the game. Wilson and King each collected two hits. Dehoyos and Barton each stole multiple bases. Raiders ran wild on the base paths, racking up seven stolen bases for the game. RSC also didn't commit a single error in the field.
 
Game two; ASU-TR 0, Raiders 10 (7 innings)

Cole Barton collected three hits in five at bats, as RSC defeated ASU Three Rivers 10-0 in a game two run rule. Barton doubled in the seventh inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the first inning.
 
Raiders got on the board in the first inning after Wyatt Fielding doubled, scoring one run. They then scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend the lead. Glynn Wilson drew a walk, scoring one run, Fielding doubled, scoring two runs, and Blake Seefeldt doubled, scoring two runs.
 
Nathan Mueller earned the win after only surrendering one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four. Dillon Palmer and Tyler Root each came on in relief and shut the Eagles down.
 
RSC collected 14 hits in the game. Barton and Fielding were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits. Fielding provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the team with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-3 in game two. Gabe Martinez and Seefeldt each collected multiple hits.
