Rose State College

A native of Liverpool, England Tommy Riley came over to the United States after earning a full ride soccer scholarship to Oklahoma City University after playing in the Dallas Cup.  Riley attended OCU in the Fall of 1995 and played all 4 years under Brian Harvey and Billy Martin earning All Sooner Athletic Conference honors, All Region Honors, Academic All American honors and Honorable mention All American Honors multiple times.
 
After OCU, Riley was hired by Heritage Hall School and over the years has been the head men’s and women’s soccer coach, he has lead the boys team to 5 state titles and 5 runners up titles over the years.  During his time at Heritage Hall he has sent many players to play collegiately as well as having players who have played professionally in the MLS, USL and NFL.  He still continues to coach the men’s team at Heritage Hall to this day.
 
Riley was hired in 2012 to take over St. Gregory’s women’s soccer program, during his time he placed players on the Sooner Athletic all-conference team, academic all American teams and Sooner athletic academic teams.    
 
He left St. Gregory’s in the Spring of 2017 and was hired as the Director of Player Development for Energy FC.  During his time there he ran the Olympic Development Program for the state association and helped place more players on regional teams in 2 years than Oklahoma had had in the previous 10 years.  Two boys were selected to attend full national team training at the U15 level with one going on to captain his country in Croatia. 
 
Riley coaches several club teams outside of Rose State and has won state tournament and national league events across the country.  He has won NSCAA state and regional coach of the year awards and Daily Oklahoman Coach of the year award.  Riley holds a USYS B license as well as a USYS Y license and has helped instruct state licensing across the state of Oklahoma.
 
Riley lives in Oklahoma City and is married to Kellie, they have one daughter Olivia.
