A Run-Rule Game Two Leads Raider Baseball to Split with Redlands

Game one; Redlands 3, Raiders 1
 
Both teams were strong on the bump on Tuesday, but Redlands was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-1 victory over the Raiders in game one. 
 
RSC was the first to get on the board in the fourth when Blake Seefeldt grounded out, scoring one run.
 
Redlands CC made the score 3-1 in the top of the fifth after Seefeldt induced the Cougars to hit into a fielder's choice, allowing two runs to score, plus a single after that, scoring one run.
 
Nathan Mueller started the game and recorded 12 outs. He surrendered one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Seefeldt took the loss for the Raiders, going two innings, giving up three runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one. 
 
Silas Vogely, Logan Jeske, and Wyatt Fielding each collected one hit on the game. Seefeldt led the team with one run batted in.
 
Raiders turned two double plays in the game.
 
Game two; Redlands 1, Raiders 11 (5 innings)
 
Wyatt Fielding drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Raiders past Redlands 11-1 in game two. One of those hits being a grand slam in the second inning.
 
RSC got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Glynn Wilson homered to right field. Followed by a ground out by Brodie Hinson and a single by Joseph Heard, each scoring one run.
 
Kenny Fabian earned the win, surrendering four hits and one run over five innings. He struck out three and walked two.
 
Raider Baseball piled up nine hits in the game. Jordan Dehoyos, Cole Barton, and Fielding each collected two hits each. RSC was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error and turned two double plays.
 
Next up for Raider Baseball is a three-game series against Hutchinson Community College beginning this Friday at 2pm.
