Raider Women’s Soccer Dominates Connors State College with a Stellar 6-0 Win, Kicking Off the Season in Style

Raider Women's Soccer gets back in their groove with their first win of the season yesterday against Connors State College. The team headed to Muskogee's Love-Hatbox Sports Complex bright and early Sunday morning for their first road game of the season. Game times were bumped up two hours to keep the players from the severe heat of the day. Raiders scored six goals on the Cowgirls while keeping a clean sheet for themselves. Reigen Miller started off the Raiders at only 4 minutes into the match with the first goal of the game and her career. Six minutes later, the second Raider goal was scored by Chante Perkins, with an assist from Chloi Thurman. Miller gets another goal on the sheet with an assist by Alexis Ceballos in the 22^nd minute. Thurman switches from assist to goal in the 29^th minute, getting the ball from Ceballos. Then, it's Ceballos' turn to score a goal, with the assist coming from Natali Ruiz. Only one goal was scored in the second half, coming again from Ceballos, unassisted this time.

Raider Women's Soccer is 1-0 in conference and 1-1-1 overall. Catch them in action this Wednesday, August 30^th on their home turf against Murray State College at 1pm.
