Ryon Butts

Ryon Butts played baseball at Edmond North High School, Oklahoma, and graduated in 2007. After high school, Ryon attended Rose State College where he caught and went to school for two years. After Rose State,  he attended Southern Nazarene University, where he played his final two years of college as a catcher. 

Ryon coached Holdenville High Schools varsity baseball team for one summer in 2008.  For the next four summers, he coached Edmond North’s Varsity baseball team, and was the head coach for the Edmond Grizzlies, in the fall of 2012.  In the summer of 2013, Ryon was the Assistant coach for the Liberal Beejays collegiate summer league team, and in the fall of 2013, he began his college coaching career at Rose State.  Ryon was the assistant coach at Rose for 6 years, and in the fall of 2019 he took on the new position as Head Baseball Coach for the Raiders. 

Ryon is married to his wife, Taylor Butts, and they have two children, Bailey and Brooks.
