Raiders Won Regular Season For The Third Year In A Row
The Raiders went into their last game of conference needing a win to clench first place in the regular season. After only beating Murray State 1-0 in overtime the first go around, the Raiders knew it would be a battle. The Raiders were the first to concede making it 1-0 at half-time. The Raiders were dominated throughout the game but could not find the back of the net. Finally, the Raiders found the back of the net from a goal from
Jusung Kang making it 1-1. Murray State responded quickly scoring once again just 3 minutes later. The Raiders continued to fight and finally found the back of the net two more times with a goal from Quadri and Justin to see the game out with a 3-2 win. With that win, the Raiders won the regular season for the third year in a row with a conference record of 7-1 and an overall record of 12-3. The Raiders will travel to the Region II tournament this weekend as the number one seed and play Murray State.
